Nightmare at The Nile
Ready for some spooky fun? The Nile Theatre, (105 W Main St) has transformed into a socially distanced haunted house! Check out their haunted house on Friday October 23rd at 6:30pm, if you dare! Tickets are $5 per person, under 6 years old are free. Masks are required and no groups larger than 6 people.
Strange Encounters: A Halloween Scavenger Hunt in Downtown Mesa
Things are getting strange in Downtown Mesa! Take a spooky stroll down Main Street to view Internationally acclaimed pumpkin carver, Ray Villafane’s creepy installations.
He has created fun scenes with crazy Halloween characters outdoors and in store windows throughout Downtown Mesa, all visible out of doors for safe, distanced family fun. Installation continues through November 8th.
Celebrate Día de los Muertos — virtually! The vibrant online event will offer performances, online Mercado and more in celebration of the memories of the deceased on Saturday, October 24 Noon-3pm.
Join the Belchers again this year for a (socially distanced) good time! Worth Takeaway (218 W Main St) is transformed into Jim Bob’s Burgers on October 30th and 31st from 9am-9pm. Try out new menu items like Onion-tended Consequences or old favorites like Paranormal Pepper Jack-tivity! They will have new surprises in store for you too that you won’t want to miss. Outdoor seating available on a first come first serve basis, check out their Instagram @jimbobsburgers for updates on new merchandise and activities.
Join downtown businesses for a spooky event on Halloween, the Downtown Creepy Crawl, from 11am to 11pm. For $30, you’ll get 6 tickets you can use for drinks, food and goodies downtown at various small businesses. Head over to 12 West Brewing (12 W Main St) for tickets day of or buy tickets in advance on their website.
Mesa Main Library (64 E 1st St) is hosting its Halloween Boo! Parade in your car on Saturday, October 31 from 2- 3 pm. Show up in your favorite costume, bring a treat bag and maybe even decorate your car. They’ll have several stops to drive to in their parking lot with special treats at each stop. Each car will get a family pack of books from Kids Need To Read.
