It’s NovemBEER and perfect patio weather to enjoy a cold craft beer or cider! Downtown Mesa has three local breweries referred to as “The Main Street Miracle ” according to Phoenix Magazine because of how walkable they are.

Desert Eagle Brewing Co.

Desert Eagle Brewing Company was the first brewery to come to Downtown Mesa, opening in 2012! This brewery is a perfect stop for craft beer and music lovers. Desert Eagle offers live music and open mic nights throughout the month! Desert Eagle has 11 brews on tap plus their seasonal! Happy Hour is 7 days a week 3 pm to 6 pm so stop by to experience the loving, cooking, pouring and brewing on Main St.

Oro Brewing Co.

This is an independent brewery and taproom with a pub style atmosphere tucked in right on Main St. Oro Brewing has a rotating community tap that supports smaller local charities where a portion of the beer sales goes that charity. They typically support smaller local charities, but have featured international non-profits as well. Oro Brewing Company has 12 craft beers on tap and  occasionally features a guest tap or two from a brewery within the State of Arizona. They offer many styles to suit nearly any taste, and their current theme in brewing leans more toward traditional. Check out their happy hour and specials:

Cider Crops is a veteran-owned business has 13 ciders on tap and a rotating Cider Slushie each week! Enjoy local grub from different food trucks and pop-ups each weekend. Brothers Jason and Josh Duren began making cider as a hobby after Jason returned from Afghanistan with traumatic brain injuries from IED blasts. Their hobby led to opening Arizona’s first Cidery and Taproom on Veterans Day 2017.

Cider Crops is celebrating their first anniversary by putting on a cider festival on Saturday November 10th 1-6pm. Southwest Cider Fest will feature craft cideries in the Southwest and West coast. Tickets are $50 and include: Commemorative 4oz drink cup, 20 drink tickets, $5 voucher to any of the participating food trucks. Proceeds from the event go to Operation Homefront supporting military families in our communities.
