Spark! Mesa’s Festival of Creativity

Saturday March 17th 12-11pm- Sunday March 18th 10am-5pm at the Mesa Arts Center

This year’s Festival of Creativity will feature an exhibition of 16 art cars and motorcycles, multiple hot rods, lowriders, and interactive arts experiences for people of all ages. spark! celebrates the imaginative spark in all of us, by showcasing Arizona artists and performers and inviting visitors to explore and enjoy live music, aerial dance performances, hands-on experiences, live art-making, installations, demonstrations, a variety of foods, a beer, wine and cocktail area and more. Admission and parking are free!


Spark! After Dark: Art in Motion

Saturday March 17th 8-11pm at the Mesa Arts Center

Fade the lights and turn up the music. Every third Saturday from October to June MAC’s campus is taken over by a new artist with a unique, crazy fun theme – complete with live art, live music, great eats, tasty adult drinks and more! This month features amazing art cars and motorcycles, local hotrods and lowriders, interactive art experiences and dance performances.


Downtown Mesa Festival of the Arts

Downtown Mesa Festival of the Arts is a free event featuring unique artist creations, music and fun for the whole family on Main St and North Macdonald. Support  your local vendors, grab a bite to eat and stroll Main Street!


Hello Lamp Post

Saturday March 17th- April 16th

Hello Lamp Post, a playful work of interactive public art by PAN Studios in London, invites you to pause in your tracks and interact via text message with everyday street objects like lamp posts, benches, buildings and drains. The project, which has only visited one other U.S. city prior to its installation in Mesa, includes 32 designated objects in downtown Mesa and on Mesa Arts Center’s campus.

Simply text “hello” + object name and object code to the provided mobile number and be ready to answer a curious line of questioning from the familiar street objects and Mesa Arts Center itself!


Tiny Tots Egg Hunt

Thursday March 29th 11am-12:30pm

Hop on down to Downtown Mesa’s Tiny Tots Egg hunt on Thursday, March 29th 11am-12:30pm. This free event is geared towards children under 8 years of age. Children will collect one egg at each participating business on Main Street. Participating businesses will have an indicator on their door. Make sure to bring your camera to snap a photo of your sweetie and the Easter Bunny! The Easter Bunny will be located by the Downtown Mesa Mural on the wall of Le Studio. An information booth will be at the SE corner of Main St and Macdonald for you to collect a map and goodies!


Motorcycles on Main

Friday April 6th 6-10pm on Main St Center to Robson

Join over 2,000 motorcycle enthusiasts for a Sturgis-style event! Motorcycles on Main is a shine and show event that offers live music on the main stage, beer gardens, vendors, food and a rockin’ good time!

CycloMesa Bicycle Festival

Saturday April 7th 9am-2pm at the Mesa Convention Center

Get ready to enjoy all things bicycle on Saturday, April 7 2018 at the Mesa Convention Center. Saturday’s festival compliments the start/finish line of El Tour de Mesa, a metric century ride and the sister ride to the famous El Tour de Tucson. CycloMesa is all about adventure and taking risks. Attendees will have full, free access to the zip line, rock wall, BMX Freestyle Show, Extreme Sports Zone and the Kid’s Zone. Enjoy the Mesa Adventure Challenge, a family-friendly Amazing Race type event that takes participants on a fun scavenger hunt on their bicycles around Downtown Mesa.
