Downtown Mesa Festival of the Arts Season Kick Off

The Downtown Mesa Festival of the Arts & Farmer’s Market, formerly Mesa Arts & Crafts Festival, is kicking off their 10th season on Saturday, October 7th. Enjoy hand-made items by over 60 local artists, food, live music and fun for the whole family. This season they will be adding a Farmer’s Market component to the event including organic produce and local artisan treats. The DTMesa Festival of the Arts is every first and third Saturday October through April from 10am to 4pm on Main Street and North Macdonald.
Take a sneak peak of some of the vendors that will be in attendance: Taste of Paradise CSA: an all organic farm with fresh organic produce, Proof: artisan breads, Baker’s Bees LLC: Honey, Sugar Loaf Bakery: Vegan Sweet Treats, Queen’s Pizzeria: Fresh Baked French Loaves, Nora Grace: Jewelry, Treasures with a Twist: Recycle Art, Art Macabre: New Life From Death, Grandma’s Cookies: Sweet Treats, Kiki Jewelry, Stone Zone: Wire Wrap Jewelry, Rose Arbor Soaps, S & M Sea Shell Creations, 4puppyz and a cat: handmade pet items, Anne Marie Designs & More: Hand crafted purses, aprons, and candles, Bella’s Bath Boutique: Bath Bombs, Shower Steamers, Natural Skin Care and More, Tiara Bella: Soaps and Scrubs.
The DTMesa Festival of the Arts’ main goal is to provide an environment that encourages economic and artistic growth for emerging and established artists while building a sense of community. They offer low vendor fees for artists, $25 per show, and even have a youth vendor program that waives the fees for highschool or college age artists.
