MACFest Oct. 3 - April 24

MACFest, Mesa’s community-owned “Made by Me” Arts and Culture Festival, has returned for its second season of arts, crafts, food, live music and fun for the whole family!

The event will be held every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 3, 2009 to April 24, 2010, on the sidewalks of Main Street, with vendors beginning at Macdonald Street then spreading east and west from there.

Once again, artists from across the Valley will offer original paintings, ceramics, glassworks, jewelry, photography, woodcarvings, fiber art, sculpture and much more. Nearly 200 artists participated last season, and even more are expected this season. Event organizers also expect to have more entertainment.

Artist & Performer Registration

Artists can get a 10 x 10 foot outdoor space on Main Street for only $15 per day, and those providing music, performances or family entertainment can get a space for free. Everyone must complete the registration process, which begins in August. For details on how to register, visit www.MACFestMesa.com or call the Mesa Arts Center Box Office at (480) 644-6500.

With an estimated 30,000 total attendees the first season and even more expected for the second season, MACFest provides a great opportunity for artists and performers to showcase their talents and quality work to the public.
